It addresses all the topics B2B sales professionals should know in order to make as many sales as possible. This book has step-by-step guides and instructions on how to make sales in a B2B environment. It is meant to help new and existing salespeople improve their sales skills. It also helps make the confusing world of B2B sales clear and presents it as an attainable goal.
I wrote this book because I learned these skills the hard way. After being in the high-tech industry for more than a decade as an engineer, I found myself in sales. I got my first sales position in a global company, working in the global market. This was a dream come true; it was a great opportunity with high expectations. There was just one thing missing.. I had no sales experience in the B2B market.
I had my work cut out for me.
Inexperienced, I looked up to the company leaders in B2B sales. I tried to implement their techniques in my selling. But I noticed something important. The old techniques just weren’t working.. I saw that doing the same things, and using the same old techniques would not work. The world has changed, and the way we do business has changed as well.
Eventually, with fire in my belly, dedication, tons of mistakes, and reading, studying, consulting people I knew, people I didn’t, asking every possible question, both right and wrong, spending hours and hours and hours… I cracked it! I found my way. Now I finally understand the secrets to mastering B2B sales. Now I am a master with anything that has to do with sales. But I will never forget my beginning. I don’t want anyone with passion, whether just starting out, or a more experienced sales professional looking to improve, to have to toil as I did. It is with that passion and desire in mind that I wrote the first book in this series: How to BOOM B2B Sales.
This book will allow you to use my experience and knowledge in your own work. It will save you tons of time and improve your sales skills, pushing you to a new level in B2B sales.
